Last weekend, I encouraged folks to contact their MP's, with regards to getting the government to take our needs seriously, the Afme website, has a ME manifesto, together with contact details of your MP, and template letter you can send.

Today, I had a letter from my MP, Rob Wilson, as I have said before, he is an excellent MP, very responsive, and does what he is paid to do.
He has taken the manifesto on board, and will be meeting up with the minister responsible for health within the next two weeks, to discuss this important issue, I will let you know, how it goes.
I am not saying this to blow my own trumpet, but to encourage folks to do the same. You may think, that just one person doing it, won't make a difference, but if lots of 1 people do it, it will make a difference, we vote them in, so make the most of them.

Do you want ME to be top of the election campaign?

ME is a very much misunderstood illness, and yet very real indeed, I don't know about you, but I am sick of living, in this living death experience, and I want my life back.
I know it isn't as simple as that, but I have something for you, that could help!
Afme, have put together a manifesto, for us to send to our MP's asking them to think about us, and our needs during this time, and always! They provide the manifesto, means of finding out which MP is yours, and a letter to send to your MP, all you need to do now is send it! that maybe easier said than done for some of you, but is there, someone who can do it for you?
We need ME to be at the top of the election agenda, and between us, we can do this.
Secondly, would you like to help raise money for research into ME, without doing anything different, than you already do! Do you shop at Amazon? By continuing to do this, using this link, ME Research will get between 5% and 9% of what we spend, at no extra cost to us, so what are you waiting for, save it to favourites, and then when you shop online, use this link.
That's all this time, but a lot for you to take in.
