I’m excited to let you know that our Big Give Christmas Challenge is back – and this year we have been given an amazing opportunity to match even more donations, with an increased target of £200,000!
For one week only, between now and 10th December any gift you make will be doubled and have twice the impact while there is money still in our match pot.
There are now an estimated 1.3 million people in the UK with ME or ME-like symptoms. Reaching our target will help us keep up with the increasing demand for our services. The money raised this year will help us support people like Bella (pictured) who made new friends through our young people's forum.
This year’s campaign is called Help for today, hope for tomorrow. Everything we raise will be spent on:
- Providing ‘lifeline’ information, support and healthcare to over 2,000 people affected by ME each year
- Reducing the isolation experienced by young people like Bella through our peer support services
- Investing in much-needed breakthrough ME research
- Educating the next generation of doctors on the patient realities of living with ME.
