Hello
Student hub
There are 250,000 people with M.E. in the UK and many of them first became ill at school, college or university.
That means there are bound to be other students (and staff!) in every university or college who have the same illness as you.
Trouble is, they may not have the energy to set up a support group you can turn to for advice!
Expert training program
The Expert Patient Programme offers free self-management courses for people living with any long-term conditions, including M.E.
Action for M.E. would like to hear from anyone who has undertaken such a
course in the last year. What did it involve? Was it helpful for you?
And would you recommend it to other people with M.E.? (and do say if
you’d prefer to remain anonymous)
We hope to cover this topic in a future issue of our membership magazine, InterAction.
We would be grateful for any feedback.
Want a laugh?
Life with M.E. can be pretty grim. Sometimes you need a laugh – can you help our InterAction readers do just that?
We are looking for jokes, puns, limericks, cartoons and funny stories
for the Christmas edition – so the more festive the better. They can be
about M.E. or not - it's up to you.
Post your jokes here and help tickle someone's funny bone.
Miriam
