WE ADVISE ON POWERFUL M.E. STORYLINE IN BBC1 DRAMA

There was a powerful ME/CFS storyline yesterday on the BBC1 lunchtime soap, Doctors.
MEA Publicity Manager Tony Britton was asked to advise on the technical aspects of the script. He briefed members of the ME Association about the upcoming episode in our ME Essential magazine a couple of issues ago.
Tony writes:
“I exchanged notes with the scriptwriters over the space of two or three weeks earlier this year.
“Although they didn’t use my every suggestion, they used some and I’m very pleased indeed with the result.”

SECOND DAY OF 'SUPER MATCHED FUNDING' IN OUR CHRISTMAS APPEAL

The second day in the 'super matched funding' phase of our Big Give Christmas Challenge returns at midday today.

We're raising money for an 'Early and Accurate Diagnosis' campaign and there's a brief window of opportunity at 12 noon to not only Double Your Donation but to grab some additional money put up by our charity champion, the Candis Foundation.
After that, the charity champion bow out of the frame but matched funding will continue to be available until the £5,000 in the matched funding pot is exhausted.
Donations will then continue to be received all the way up to the close of the appeal on December 15.

Please be online ready to make your donation by 12 noon today
