We
all know the importance of mental health, if that goes to pot the rest of you
does too.
A
few years ago my neighbors died, they made my life very difficult, because they
were deaf, and I am noise intolerant, and
being retired, they were home a lot, as you can imagine, the two together
did not go well, they loved their tele, and at the end of the day, they could
not help being deaf, any more than I can help having ME, I tried to move, but being on benefits meant,
I could not afford to, it would be fair to say, they made me really ill.
Once
they died I thought, right, now I am going to get my life back, but how can I
do this, my family is creative, and I thought, I was the most uncreative person
in the world, but if they are, there must be a gene hiding in there somewhere,
so I went on Amazon, to see what I could do, and found beginners painting by
numbers, I got one kit, and to my surprise, I loved it, I thought I would never
paint anything ever, my creativity stopped at stick men! But I kept at it, and
as I did one painting after another, my confidence and skills grew, and my
mental health soured.
Now
I am not saying , you have to learn to paint, but I would encourage you, to
find something, that helps your mental health, whatever that maybe, and let it
grow.
I
am not saying I am back to normal heath wise, far from it, I am still very restricted,
but I find painting by numbers relaxing, and its amazing, seeing a painting
coming alive. You can do a few minutes at a time, rest etc, its at your pace.
It can take as long or as short a time, to do each one, its completely up to
you, should you decide to start painting by numbers, here is one you can get
