Hello
The last
few weeks I have been in hospital, and have been putting posts on my Facebook page, of things I have learnt I hope they
help you.
First of
all, for ages I have had kidney pain, and I put it down to ME, because you get
pain with ME right? I was so wrong, I ended up having major kidney surgery on
both kidneys, because neither were functioning, as they should, and my urethra
was blocked, I was in serious trouble help wise, and if I had not been rescued
by my neighbour, I would be dead by now.
Anyway,
here are tips, I put on my Facebook
page, I hope they help you.
I am writing this post from my hospital bed.
What I have to say is very important. For years I have had severe kidney pain,
but I put it down to me. It wasn't, I ended up in with having major, kidney and
bladder operation, so please go to the doc with any new or current symptoms, it
might no be Me.
I had a letter from the dwp asking to do a home
assessment, dad called to say that I was currently in hospital, and do not know
when I am coming out so they have postponed it, so if you can't do it, get
someone to let them know.
Another tip from bring in hospital
If you
take supplements, always check with your doctor, before buying, they may clash
with your current medication, and make you worse, if what you are taking
doesn't suit, ask them to recommend, an alternative, either on prescription or
otherwise. I have now dumped all my supplements.
Hope it
helps.
Another tip, this one helps aid digestion, do check with your
doctor before doing this, I don't want to clash with your other medication.
Put
10ml of peppermint oil in 200ml of hot water, and drink after your meal.
I got
this from one gut specialist at the hospital.
Hope it helps.
I have just read in take a break, that rest
less leg syndrome, can be because your iron levels are low, you can increase
this by eating more greens.
That’s it, I hope they help.
Miriam
