Hello
Now, I love being on my own, I thrive on it, and would rather be on my own than with people, but I know, with many people, part of the problem with ME, is the isolation, not seeing, or speaking to anyone for days maybe, however, I have found the solution this week!
My neighbour and I, have become best buddies, as a result of the lock down, one afternoon, I was out the front garden, sorting out my washing, and she was washing her car, and we got talking, and became friends, she has become like a carer to me, but recently she and her family were away on holiday, and asked, if I would look after their hamster, I said of course, minimal work, with pleasure, but at the time, I didn't realize how much pleasure that would bring, they are good listeners, I get to feed food to him, through the bars of his home, being careful, to come off with my fingers intact, he has given me so much pleasure, I am thinking of having one.
Now, not everyone needs to have a hamster, but there are other low maintenance pets, like fish, gerbils etc, the list goes on.
So if you are a social creature, and can't get out, to people, why not try having a hamster, or something similar, I think, you will enjoy it, it may well boost your mental health too.
