Hello
If like me, you have had your benefits stopped, and need to create some fresh cash, these tips may help.
Do an inventory, do you pay for things on subscription, that you no longer need?
Where do you shop for your groceries, could you change to a cheaper supermarket, and only buy non branded goods?
Is your home disabled friendly? If so, your local council, could give you cheaper council tax, because of that, you will need to contact the council to find out more?
Gas and electricity, could you have solar panels installed, there are grants available, through your local council, to enable this to happen, this will save on your gas and electricity?
Some broad bands and utility bills, allow you go onto a special rate, for those on low income.
Could you get council tax/housing benefit?
Need something, that you can't afford, join the Buy nothing group on Facebook, there, are people there, giving things away, they may have what you want.
Join the next door app, they have free things on there, that people want to get rid of.
Use the turn 2 us website, to see if there are other benefits, you can get.
I hope these suggestions help.
Miriam
