DecodeME has launched

 

In this period of national mourning, the DecodeME team seriously considered how best to proceed and we decided to continue with our plans to launch the study today. For more information, please read our statement here. Please see below your invitation to the study and information on how to take part:   Help decode ME/CFS   It’s time – we’ve just launched the DecodeME study, and we’re inviting you to take part and decode ME.   Taking part is easy and you can do everything from home.   Step 1: Sign up on the website. It only takes a few minutes. Step 2: Complete our questionnaire. You can take it slowly and pause at any time and return when you’re ready — today or another day. Step 3: Spit and post. You may also be asked to provide a DNA sample. In this case, we'll send you a 'spit kit' which contains everything you need, and you can return it to us for free via any postbox. Looking at DNA is the best way to find causes of ME/CFS, and to point the way to treatments.   And when you’ve done that, you’ll have joined the world's biggest study of ME/CFS.
