Hello
If you are anything like me, you will try anything
and everything to help your ME. The following 3 have helped me, and I hope they
help you.
I start with a disclaimer, before doing any of
these, please check with your doctor first.
- One of the horrid things of ME, are the constant seizures, and body jerks, I have gone from having several a night to just a few a month now, sometimes more, as some of it is due to noise intolerance.
The following has helped
to reduce them, not get rid of them, but a reduction is good. I spoke to my
doctor about it, and she put me on Amitriptyline, I started on a 10mg dose, and
have gradually built up, it was suggested that I be on a much higher dose, but
I would rather start small and build up. I am now on 35mgs of it, and it has
made a big difference, I would recommend it to anyone, who has seizures and
body jerks, both very unpleasant.
The side effects are vivid
dreams, but not nightmares, and it can cause water retention, whatever you take
will give you side effects, you have to measure out, what it is doing, versus
the side effects.
- I am going through the change, which is horrid, with that and ME, life can be difficult, I went to the doctor, and was put on HRT, which did help to a degree, then due to some circumstances I came off HRT, and felt so much better, then later on I tried putting sage on my dinner, it helped, it also tried red clover, as promoted in Top Saute magazine, that helped too, but then I found something out, and thought I would give it a try, it’s a mixture of red clover and sage, in a herbal tablet, its called Menopause, and its has completely removed all my menopausal symptoms, I take one a day, and that’s it, you can get it on Amazon, I ordered it one day, it came two days later. To save you having to look for it, I enclose the website address here.
- If you have mobility problems, like I do, you use your mobility scooter a lot, (once or twice a week) it’s a life saver, and I would not be without it. Some days, I want to be able to walk a few steps, but without using a stick that says, I am disabled, I looked on Amazon, and found the following, this one, looks like you a rambler, you can sit down every few steps if you like and then continue, I have not had it long, but its great to walk, even if it is a few steps.

I hope these tips help to improve your life somehow, we all need a bit
of help from time to time.
