Hello
If
you are having problems sleeping, I have watched a program on it, and the
following are my notes from it, I hope they help.
Unfortunately,
the video has been taken offline, as it happened over a month ago.
If
you get only a few hours sleep a night on a regular basis, you could be at risk of getting diabetes 2.
Ways
to improve your sleep.
No
caffeine, after midday.
Put
some lavender oil on your pillow
Switch
off TV, computer, iphone, mobile phone etc 1 hour before bed time.
Turn
alarm clock away from you, so you don’t keep looking at it.
Mindfulness,
keep your minds to the present, concentrating on breathing helps too.
Bath
an hour before bed, then go into a cool room or open a window, once dressed of
course.
Eating
2 kiwi fruit an hour before bed.
If
you have a sleep in the afternoon, have a strong coffee, before doing so, crazy
yes.
Have
prebotics 3 x a day, this helps feed the bacteria in your gut, and so giving
you a good nights sleep.
If
you don’t want to take tablets, use the following foods:
Lentils
Chick
peas
Butter
beans
Make
your evening meal rich in fibre
That’s
it, sleep well.
