This was taken from the program stated above on BBC 1 at 9pm.
Now the advice given was for the general public, not for ME people specifically, so please adopt it to your life, the best way you know that fits, this is to help you, not hinder you.
1 in 4 of us, experience mental health problems, in one way or another.
There is more awareness with regards to mental health now.
The pandemic, has increased mental health issues, which is not surprising to me, as it has not only created illness and death, but also a lot of uncertainty.
Anxiety
This can become long term anxiety, if not dealt with properly, if you have long term anxiety, please go and see your doctor, they maybe able to help.
Ways to manage anxiety
When you are feeling anxious, try to breath slowly, this will reduce your heart beat, and anxiety levels.
Gardening, and painting helps with anxiety. Whether it be watering a pot plant once a week or more.
Being creative generally helps with anxiety.
Mindfulness can also help.
Some people turn to bad habits, to help with anxiety.
Probotics can help anxiety, there is one on Amazon, that you may find helpful, but do check it out with your doctor, before taking. Yoghurt also has probotics in it, and can help with anxiety.
Caffeine
Can make you anxious, you could swap that for herbal teas, they can be calming.
