We wanted to let you know what’s been happening in the DecodeME study over the past couple of months and share some blog posts on our website that may be of interest to you.
DecodeME’s online testing phase
In June, we invited 500 participants selected at random to take part and test the online system for us. This is the last testing phase before we fully launch the study and open recruitment later this year.
Our
blog post gives more detail about where we are up to with the project. There is also an audio version of this article at the same place.
DecodeME - A 'Treasure Map'
We’ve always said that DecodeME is just the beginning of biomedical research into ME/CFS.
Professor Chris Ponting and Simon McGrath have written a blog explaining how they see DecodeME as a ‘treasure map’ to guide future researchers and map out what future research directions should be taken and what treatments could be considered.
The blog post can be found HERE and there is also an audio version.
DecodeME study protocol published in BMC Neurology
We are pleased that the DecodeME protocol has just been published online and can be accessed by everyone.
A link to the protocol is in our
short blog post where we also explain what a protocol is and why it’s important that we make this freely available to other researchers.
We hope you are as excited about this as we are and we thank you for your continued support and interest in DecodeME.
