Hello
As many of you will know, there has been a Timms review of the benefits system for disabled people, the following is what has been found.
We need to encourage people who have a temporary illness, to get them well and back to work.
Those with a mild long term condition, we can help them to work.
Those with long term conditions that will get worse, we give a life time of benefits.
To me that's the common-sense appropriate. Work is good for you, but those who cannot work, need financial support.
